A complete step-by-step guide — from preparation to driving away
An International Driving Permit (IDP) must be obtained in your home country before you arrive in Korea. Korea does NOT issue IDPs to foreign visitors. Get your IDP from your country's official automobile association (e.g., AAA in the US, AA in the UK, JAF in Japan).

Our team will provide a clear quote based on your vehicle choice, rental duration, insurance options, and delivery location. No hidden fees. If you have questions about the quote, our English team will explain everything clearly.
Submit your documents (passport, foreign license, IDP, ARC if applicable). The rental contract is available in English. Review it carefully and sign. Payment is processed by credit card (major international cards accepted, conditions may vary).
Your vehicle is delivered to your specified location — airport terminal, hotel, or address anywhere in Korea. Our delivery agent will walk you through the vehicle, explain any features, and confirm the handover in English.
Enjoy driving in Korea! When your rental period ends, contact us to arrange vehicle return or extension. Keep your documents with you while driving — Korean police may request your license, IDP, and rental agreement during traffic checks.
Use Kakao Maps or Naver Maps for navigation in Korea. Google Maps works but with limited real-time traffic. All major apps have English support.
Urban roads: 50-60 km/h. Expressways: 100-110 km/h. Speed cameras are common. Always follow posted limits.
Parking is available at most shopping centers and hotels. Many areas have paid parking. Illegal parking is strictly enforced with fines.
Korea has many toll expressways. Hi-pass (electronic toll) systems are common. Ask us about Hi-pass transponder options when you rent.
Drive on the right side. Right turn on red is generally not allowed unless a sign permits it. Seatbelts are mandatory for all passengers.
Always carry your passport, foreign license, IDP, and rental agreement while driving. Police may request these at checkpoints.
